I see your struggle

You wonder if there is a way to break free from the weight of anxiety and navigating those difficult relationships in your life.

You’ve worked hard to overcome painful experiences from your past, yet find yourself stuck back into the same patterns. Your inner dialogue is full of doubt, self-criticism and defeat.

Showing up every day takes every ounce of your energy, leaving you empty, alone and disconnected. At the end of the day, you have nothing more to give to those you care about, let alone yourself.

You know SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE.

I know your desire

You want to get back on track, to feeling confident, in control and hopeful. You want to get to a place of having the tools to cope with whatever life throws at you. You want to move forward with greater understanding of how you got here.

You want to find RELIEF and create LASTING CHANGE.

YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE.

I’M HERE TO HELP!

Who I Help

I support women in the bay area and throughout California like you who are weighed down by anxiety, traumatic experiences and complex family dynamics, in rewriting their story to one of resilience, strength and growth. Juggling multiple roles, responsibilities and expectations can become all too overwhelming. Here you can find the space and tools that allow you to overcome these challenges. Helping you become empowered is my primary goal.

I want to come alongside you in finding your center. Those who are willing to pause, reflect and be challenged make the best use of this space and experience the most fulfillment.

How I Help

My approach to therapy focuses on taking time to get to know you, understanding your story and taking note of the way you see yourself, others and the world.

I focus on creating a safe space where we can sit together in hard moments, transforming them into launching pads. Knowing you well and earning your trust means I can start to challenge you, nudge you and hold you accountable for doing the work (don’t worry I approach this with a mix of skill and gentleness!).

Working with me means blending both practical tools to quickly get you back on track, since after all you’re here to find relief; with deeper work that gets to the bottom of your struggles. I will help you connect the dots from your past, understand underlying patterns and unlearn ineffective behaviors. Together we’ll work on tapping into the strength within to create meaningful change.

I believe you have all the pieces of the puzzle, you just need help rearranging them.

The Work I do

I believe that finding the RIGHT fit unlocks the door to transformative change

I ultimately want you to find a therapist here that is both skillful and gets you. Someone who makes you feel comfortable enough to show up in your most vulnerable, messy and broken parts and be able to help you put the pieces back together in a beautiful and empowered way.

I help you get there by using various therapeutic approaches that are particularly suited for this style and for reaching your goals successfully

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

  • Narrative Therapy

  • DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy)

  • Strength-Based strategies

We will start by “gathering data” from your past and present, knowing your strengths, triggers, core beliefs and challenges. This process will be done in a curious and insightful way

I will ask you the hard questions, encourage you to dig deeper and challenge you to make choices that align with your authentic self. You will then start learning and using various tools to make the necessary changes and will gradually get better at it!

Although there isn’t a “quick fix” here, I understand you long for peace, relief and regaining control.  I am committed to getting you there!

Over the past two decades my focus has been on working with women who are struggling with anxiety, trauma and relationship challenges. This focus has allowed me to develop and hone skills that are most effective and successful to this work.

My clients walk away from therapy knowing they can trust me and themselves in creating a path forward that leaves them content.
