Feeling anxious or worried about certain situations can be a normal response and part of daily life. However, if you are finding yourself in a constant state of heightened apprehension, can pretty much identify with most scenarios above, and find that anxiety has interfered with various areas of your life, then you may be struggling with chronic anxiety. Without treatment, anxiety can escalate to panic attacks and/or impact you physiologically.

A blend of talking through and processing emotions along with learning practical skills, often produces the best results. We’ll address your thoughts, emotions and behaviors as they relate to anxiety, while also targeting your physical symptoms.

Many clients are able to overcome anxiety without needing medication and generally respond well to talk therapy. I use various evidence-based modalities like CBT, Mindfulness and ACT which often produce effective results. However, if I believe medication is something you should consider, I will provide you with adequate medical referrals to explore this option to complement our work.
